Do they actually work?

Quick answer: Yes!

Long answer: A’kin’s Natural Roll-On Deodorant is clinically tested to provide 24 hour odour control whilst the Spray variety deodorises all day*. They work to control the release of odour by slowing down bacterial enzymes that degrade sweat (and release the odour) with their no-nasties formula.

How do traditional antiperspirants work?

Aluminiumis used in antiperspirants, clogs pores, preventing the release of sweat. A build-up of sweat under the skin may increase penetration of nasty chemicals, and may cause bumpy skin and painful irritations.

Will natural deodorants stop you from sweating?

Sweat alone doesn’t actually smell! After all, it’s mostly just water. What creates the smell is bacteria on the skin that feeds off the sweat. So unlike antiperspirants which block the sweat pore, natural deodorants control the release of odour, letting you sweat naturally.

What ingredients do you use?

We’ve carefully selected natural ingredients that are close to the skin’s biology, reducing the risk of allergy and irritation. Formulated without nasty chemicals like triclosan, aluminium and zinc, A’kin’s Natural Deodorants use natural hop extract to control odour causing bacteria, natural bamboo powder to absorb odour and natural corn starch to help control moisture.
